On June 28, the Kunsthaus Kaufbeuren will open three parallel projects on the three floors of the building. The projects deal specifically with the context and spaces of the building and will change and develop over several months.
The [foyer] on the first floor, the [hall] on the second floor and the [attic] on the top floor offer different possibilities for presentation, inhabitation, visibility, concentration, but also openness and participation. The three projects by Gabi Blum in the [hall], Frauke Zabel in the [attic] and students from the Master of Identity Design at Augsburg University of Applied Sciences in the [foyer] use artistic, research-based and participatory approaches to test different constellations in which the presentation of art, artistic production processes, interaction by and with visitors, events, activation and mediation come together.
