The joy of fine art in all its facets and the goal of promoting the work of the Kunsthaus to the best of our ability led to the founding of the Friends and Patrons of the Kunsthaus Kaufbeuren in 1995.

The joy of fine art in all its facets and the aim of promoting the work of the Kunsthaus to the best of our ability led to the founding of the VEREIN DER FREUNDE UND FÖRDERER DES KUNSTHAUSES KAUFBEUREN in 1995. Since then, the Friends and Patrons have provided financial support for numerous exhibitions and accompanying events (artist talks, lectures, readings, concerts).
With regard to our work in the field of art education and cultural education, we are particularly interested in supporting programs specially tailored to families and children. With the aim of training an understanding of the diverse approaches and forms of expression of art at an early age and, in this context, promoting creative potential in practical discussions, we support the regular implementation of workshops and tours that are geared towards the special interests and needs of this target group. We would like to further develop and expand this important area of our commitment in the future.
Membership of the Friends and Patrons Association offers many opportunities for encounters for young and old and for a lively exchange with art and artists!
Commitment and benefits
It is very important to us to grow as a circle of friends in order to sustainably support the Kunsthaus in its exhibitions and program offerings. We therefore welcome new members who help to make “our” Kunsthaus a place of identification and encounter.
We offer membership as a “sponsor” not only for individuals and families, but also for companies and private individuals who wish to support the Kunsthaus in particular, which is a contemporary form of cultural promotion and image building. Contributions for individual members as well as for companies are of course fully tax-deductible.
